He donated ₹10 lakh to Tollygunge Artists Forum in order to help the distressed cine workers in West Bengal, which was revealed in a tweet by journalist Gautam Bhattacharya.

Sourav Ganguly visited the ISKCON city centre and extended a helping hand to them by enabling them to feed 20,000 people affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
“From ISKCON Kolkata we were cooking food for 10,000 people daily. Our dear Sourav Da has come forward and extended all his support and has donated, which enables us to double our capacity to 20,000 people every day,” Radharaman Das spokesperson and vice-president of ISKCON, Kolkata centre said.
Dada’s contribution after cyclone Amphan tragedy
In March, Sourav Ganguly along with Lal Baba Rice had donated rice worth ₹50 lakh for the underprivileged and the needy people who had been put in government schools in the state in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.. He followed it up by giving away 2000 kgs of rice at the Belur Math, the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission.

Sourav Ganguly had offered Eden Gardens’ indoor facility and the players dormitory to the West Bengal government to create a temporary medical facility to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
“If government asks us, we will certainly hand over the facility. Anything that is need of the hour, we will do it. There is absolutely no problem,” Ganguly was quoted as saying by PTI.
